Client: Crooked Media

Scope: Strategy, Asset creation and illustrations, UX, UI and Development

Ahead of the 2020 election, we were tasked with re-designing and building Crooked Media’s voter education platform, Vote Save America. Replacing an inflexible CMS, we provided them with a modular system within Wordpress where content could easily change as often as the election cycle and be used for other action-related initiatives. Our team created a visual system that imparted information and felt urgent, but avoided the traditional political tropes (red vs blue, donkeys vs elephants) and instead, drew inspiration from the activist tactics of the ‘60s and ‘70s, coupled with a colorful palette that felt both nostalgic and fresh.
